The ultimate irony is that my RPF experience made me a Scientologist, and, it made me divorce myself forever from the corporate Scientology organization which practices reverse Scientology and creating people who become the opposite of what L. Ron Hubbard intended with auditing.

Hi Marty,

The below are some not so coherent and chronological comments but nonetheless some notes of my RPF experience at Flag after leaving the Int base after 17 years of service there.

I left Gold at the height of insanity in late November 2006 and no RPF outside of the Int Base could even start to match up to the conditions at Int – the RPF at Flag was a holiday in comparison, but that doesn’t make the RPF right, it was just from my own perspective.

The original idea of the RPF as covered in the LRH advices and FOs about the RPF make some sense to me. Instead of off-loading an R/Sing staff member who was dramatizing his R/Ses on the organization, or being a chronic overt-product-maker, had a voluntary free choice of doing the program or getting off-loaded. It was for extreme cases where regular Qual, ethics and justice, hatting etc, had not created a change in destructive behavior.

For those people they were supposed to get a PTS Check, a check for evil purposes on all dynamics and anyone with a List 1 R/S [List #1 Rock Slam – meaning having exhibited a rock slam while checking a list of items related to LRH and Scientology] would get EX DN [Expanded Dianetics] or OT III or NOTS pending on case level.

This was 1974. A PTS Check in 1974 was a metered interview where you established if the person was PTS on the meter and if so to whom. Later the PTS Check materials got cancelled and the new “definition” for PTS Check was a 10 August interview as well as the PTS/SP course and the PTS Rundown – now all C/Sed for on the RPF, adding months to the program.

The original time frame of an RPF program was a few months. A month or two for training (if you were not trained already) and another month or two for the C/S’ed program. You did it 5 hours a day in a co-audit with technical supervision and worked 8 hours a day on deck work for exchange. Read the rest of this entry »

Silvia Lloréns

TO INDEPENDENT SCIENTOLOGISTS:

Hello! My name is Silvia Lloréns. I started  in Scientology in 1978, joined the SO in 1983 and left in early 2007.
I have read the numerous accounts on the experiences and viewpoints others have had and that have been expressed in various web pages; I do understand them.
All of them share one common point or conclusion: the suppression is coming primarily from COB (Chairman of Scientology Inc. David Miscavige) and some of his followers.
Now, I will share my experiences from the viewpoint I had then as a 24 years Sea Org Member. The years as a Scientologist are still counting as I have not ceased being one; we all have experienced the immense benefits LRH´s tech can provide.
It matters to me to make clear that the following personal story has the purpose to provide my viewpoint regarding RTC, COB and his followers; in no way is it intended to include Scientology as a the Philosophy or LRH as these are way, way, way apart from what COB has perpetrated inside, outside Orgs and towards Scientologists at large.
Having said that, here we go,
I worked in RTC around ´84.  In ´87 I was heading  toward the RTC Offices at Int Base to return the pin I was given when I joined that Organization; it was exactly the time DM was taking over, all the offices were a mess, most of the Sea Org Members  were being routed back to their original Orgs, thus I ended back at FSO.
Early ´90s FSO was visited by higher Execs such as Guillame Lesevre, Ray Mithoff, Marc Yager; they all deal with staff with their landmark professionalism; they listened to the staff, observed the various scenes occurring and improved them.
Late ´90s COB used to do some visits here and there; at that time I did not understand why some staff tried not to cross his path, it could have been that the few that did ended usually off post…
So, time goes on, early 2000s are in progress; each day, every time and  more and more RTC starts to take over, meaning:
-Whenever one of the RTC member spoke the rule was to keep quiet.
Specific: during a meeting at the AO with Miscavige he did ask a question to the AO staff gathered there; one staff answered it. He said “What? You probably are not fully hatted.” Hours later that staff was removed from post, even though she had been doing well on it and was usually upstat. Read the rest of this entry »

http://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2012/10/22/robillards-declare-independence/

Hello,
My name is Pierre Robillard, and I’ve been a scientologist since 1968. I was on staff from 1969-1993, with the exception of three years in the mid eighties, holding mainly key posts like ED and OES.

Pierre

I joined staff in Toronto in 1969. My first post was CF I/C. I also held the posts of test evaluator, basic courses supervisor, FBO, Class IV intern and intern super. In july 1974, I was parachuted to Montreal and held the ED MTL post until 1978. I went back to Toronto to do AG training. (predecessor of OSA), acted as AG Toronto, went back to Montreal in 1980 as

AG MTL and ended up from 81 to 83 as OES/Senior C/S. Then there were turbulent times and I ended up as ED kitchener in 1984. I wanted to go back to Montreal. It was refused so I routed off. In 1985, the MTL org was doing very badly and OSA asked me to help as the Investigation officer. In 1988, I re-signed my contract, did the OT levels up to OT 111 and spent the next 5 years as OES and cumulating the C/S post off and on.

TRAINING

I’m a graduate class 1V auditor, NED auditor; I did at Flag the C/S series in clay and I’m a fully trained Intern super. I was also fully trained in 1971 in LA as an FBO. There’s an amusing story on this subject. While I was interning in one of the SO buildings, I was agressed (my shirt ripped) by a man named Wendall Reynolds. I got so mad that they had to call an HCO bring order on me.
Finally, my FBO org officer, Pat Broeker sent me to apologize to Reynolds.

After I finished my last staff contract july 1993, I eventually ended up C/sing in the field, my plan was to C/S at night, send money to Saint-Hill for the briefing course and eventually phase out of my wog job. Well, GAT  came upon us. I submitted a plan to continue C/Sing and go train on GAT at Saint-Hill a month a year. This was refused. I was not enthused by this situation. I was losing my right to C/S, my past production was invalidated for what? added drills.

EXPANSION 1

I’ve been fortunate to work twice in a booming org. The first time was in Toronto, early seventies. As I wore, at different times, various posts, I was able to get a concept of a productive org. I worked in div 6 and was part on occasion of the book unit. The org sold at times more than 500 DMSMH books a week. I was not the best book seller but it did raise my confront ( plus as a bonus that’s where I met my wife to be, Heather. I was the FBO toronto in 1972 when Ron sent a telex validating Boston org and Toronto org for financially supporting the INT Management. As an auditor doing my internship in the HGC, I was part of a team auditing 400 hours or more of WDAHs a week (by the way, the HGC was located on top of an old funeral parlor’s garage and the cabins were made of cheap styrofoam). In 1974, I became the Intern Super and I was part of a huge qual that included 2 word clearers, 2 cram offs , a qual receptionist, staff staff auditors, staff staff C/S etc. There was more than 100 people on staff.
The hatting was very important. Besides my FBO training, I was fully hatted as a div 6 personnel, fully hatted as an intern super. The org had OEC/FEBCs trained on the flag ship. Part of the success can be attributed to the great basic courses, especially the HQS course.

Dear friends and fellow Scientologists,

Some of you may have noticed that I haven’t been too active or visible at OTC meetings, OT Ambassador activities (I have been an OT Ambassador since 1995), Int Events, Ideal Org fund raising meetings, Ideal Org openings, etc. over the past many months. I haven’t been back to Flag for about a year.

Some of you may have wondered what’s happened. Well, the truth is, I have been wondering that myself. I have pondered this and even concluded that my withdraw must be caused by my own overts and withholds. I’ve originated this to Tech Terminals at Flag, D of P, Flag MAA, to my FSM and even to close friends (that I must have O/Ws causing withdraw). I have been in session at Flag several times over the past year or two and in metered interviews with MAA. I have also written up OWs. Still, I found myself not really reaching or wanting to participate in these church activities including my own Bridge progress. (And yes, I did complete The Basics about 4 years ago and had good wins).

There just seemed to be these nagging considerations of outpoints that would not as-is, go away. As of this date, my Ethics File at Flag is very empty with the exception of many dozens of Commendations as an OT Ambassador for 17 yrs., Power FSM and Front Lines Disseminator in the WISE Sector for the past 29 years. I’m not saying here that I am some perfect little angel, but those of you who know me, know that I have been an unwavering, staunch supporter and defender of our church, Scientology and LRH for 35 years.

Why am I communicating to you?

“We of the Church believe … that all men have inalienable rights to think freely, to talk freely, to write freely their own opinions and to counter or utter or write upon the opinion of others…” The Creed of the Church of Scientology, 1954. Read the rest of this entry »

The following is from a special guest who is sitting in limbo within the corporate Scientology community.  Scientologist X provides a bird’s eye, real time view of what is like to begin questioning the contradictions within.

WHAT I KNOW

I’m a third generation Scientologist.  I am not ready to “come out”. I don’t want to abandon my religion.  I want to heal it.  Because of
that I’ve asked Marty to leave out my identifying details.

At the age of fifteen I was a Golden Age of Tech trained Class V Auditor.  I completed my entire Basics B+L series in record time
immediately following their release.  My parents have been in Scientology from its most formative stages.  My sister is OT _____,
_____ C/S.  My brother has been a staff member since he was fourteen. He personally helped establish the __________  and has manned it ever since, working in various capacities as a ____, ____, ____, etc.  As
my personal EO, he is probably at his wit’s end right now, reading this.  This letter is going to rip his heart in half.  Before I rush
headlong any further down this terrifying path, I want to take a minute to say to everyone in my family: I love you.  Please don’t stop
loving me.   :’ (

I’m writing because I have noticed some changes in the church’s methods of operation, and these changes make me very uncertain and
uncomfortable.  I don’t know and can’t say who or what is responsible for these changes.  I’m not going to say it’s David Miscavage because I’ve never even met the guy.  I’ve only seen him once: on the Freewinds in 2001 when he walked around a corner and almost ran into me.  He was surrounded by a team of juniors so it’s actually more accurate to say that seven or eight people almost walked into me.  It wasn’t their fault, it was mine.  I was reading while walking through the A deck hallways and didn’t hear or see them approaching.  At the time I remember being impressed with COB, both with his enormous presence and energy, and his short stature.  I never worked at Int, and I never had friends who were uplines that high.  So I don’t have any concrete evidence either for or against the charges of him being a raving lunatic who beats his subordinates.  Since I don’t have any evidence about that stuff, let’s just set it aside.  Here’s what I want to talk about: what I do know.  What I do know is that I personally have witnessed changes, and I’m talking about things I’ve seen with my own eyes, and I am not being allowed to inquire about these changes.

I’m an auditor.  I don’t like being told not to communicate. So I guess this is an exploratory letter to “the other side” to attempt to gain some clarity, since the “good side” refuses to answer any of my burning questions.  I’m just going to try to tackle these “things that shouldn’t be” one at a time.

WHO IS CREATING INSTABILITY WITH BLANKET ISSUES OF “NOT CLEAR”?

It started as a trickle and swelled to a waterfall.  I watched as over the course of a year, then two, then three, nearly every adult role model in my life went pale with dread and said they were being called to Flag to get a “review”–which always, inevitably, ended in them being told they were not actually Clear the first time (or in MANY CASES, second, or third times).  They then had to stay for financially devastating, emotionally harrowing weeks of high, gleeful ups and excruciating downs.  These reviews and re-auditing actions were very expensive (plane tickets, accomos, multiple meals a day, not working and earning money while being away) such that upon returning, rather than looking glowing and shiny, they looked (to me) rather anxious. July 13, 2012 – Karen de la Carrierre held a memorial for her son Alexander whose father is the president of Scientology, Heber Jentzsch. Karen has been declared a Suppressive Person which caused Alexander to disconnect from her for the last two years of his life. She was not notified when Alexander died but found out about it through Facebook comments. She was barred from seeing her son’s body and not allowed to receive his ashes.

Dear Scientologist,

I am emailing you as a friend and fellow Scientologist to let you know about the mysterious and sudden death of my son Alexander Jentzsch at 27 years of age on July 3, 2012.

Although I am not in the Sea Org right now, I served aboard the Flagship Apollo where I was trained by LRH to the level of Class XII C/S. I am one of only seven Class XII C/S’ LRH ever made.

After LRH took Flag ashore in Clearwater, I met and fell in love with Heber Jentzsch. We married and Heber went on to become the President of the Church of Scientology International. I remained devoted to LRH and to my duties as a Class XII C/S at Flag. I won “Auditor of the Year” at Flag numerous times.

In 1984, I gave birth to our son Alexander.

Alexander Jentzsch was born in the Sea Org. He formally joined the Sea Org when he was eight years old. Despite the promises that Sea Org recruiters made to Alexander, he did not receive a proper education. While other children were in school, Alexander was cleaning toilets and mopping floors at Flag. As a child working in the Sea Org, Alexander was made to work long hours and would sometimes sneak away to call me on the phone in tears.

While LRH had made family time a daily requirement in the Sea Org, things radically changed under COB RTC David Miscavige and family time virtually disappeared. Unless there is a death or a PR flap of some kind, Sea Org members are almost never allowed to see their families. Alexander seldom saw his father, Heber. Factually, years would go by between the times Alexander was allowed to see his father. Alexander called himself “The Boy with no Dad”. He saw Heber less than 11 times in 14 years.

COB RTC David Miscavige ordered Heber Jentzsch and I to be divorced and has utterly destroyed our 2nd dynamic.

I was suddenly a single mother with a child to support. Heber was unable to pay any child support. Indeed, Heber could not even support himself on his $50 per week Sea Org pay. I did not protest this as Heber was the President of the Church of Scientology International and I did not want to create a flap for the Church. The Church had me sign affidavits on video camera that I would never ask for child support.

I was suddenly a single mother with a child to support. Heber was unable to pay any child support. Indeed, Heber could not even support himself on his $50 per week Sea Org pay. I did not protest this as Heber was the President of the Church of Scientology International and I did not want to create a flap for the Church.

I routed out of the Sea Org in 1990 and took many years to pay off my $90,000 Freeloader Debt. I paid my Freeloader Debt so that I could remain a Scientologist in good standing. I knew LRH and knew the Tech worked miracles.

After I left the Sea Org, I remained a loyal member of the Church of Scientology. I raised Alexander by myself and supported him financially when he entered the Sea Org. Alexander served on many posts during the sixteen years he was in the Sea Org. When he was a young man, Alexander married Andrea Kavon, a fellow Sea Org member.

Alexander and Andrea Jentzsch routed out of the Sea Org in 2010 due to the fact that Andrea was pregnant and babies are not allowed in the Sea Org. The baby spontaneously aborted.

Sometime after they routed out, I made the decision to publicly depart the Church in 2010 for the same reasons Debbie Cook outlined in her letter of January 1, 2012. Like Debbie, I saw the Church engaging in extreme over-regging and gross out tech. Having been trained to deliver the highest technical levels of Scientology possible, I know what Standard Tech is and is not. My decision to leave the Church was based upon my deep respect for LRH and my 100% commitment to preserve his legacy and technology. I could no longer be a part of what was happening in the Church under the deeply suppressive management of David Miscavige.

I was declared a Suppressive Person. My son Alexander and his wife were forced to disconnect from me by OSA when I left the Church.

In 2010, Alexander’s father Heber Jentzsch was 75 years old and had not been allowed to see our son for many years. Heber has been locked up in the Int Base RPF for many years and remains locked up with other International executives.

Due to the policies of Disconnection and RPF, Alexander effectively had no parents in 2010.

After he left the Sea Org, Alexander took a job in sales at a Scientology-owned company in Dallas. During this time in Dallas, Alexander was involved in a traffic accident that injured him to such an extent that he began to take prescription pain pills. Alexander lost his job and began on a downward spiral.

Because Alexander did not have $10,000 or more, the Church of Scientology would not and give him any auditing to handle the engram from the traffic accident. The Church would not even give Alexander any charity Chaplain auditing. It did not matter that Alexander’s parents had served more than fifty years in the Sea Org. There is no compassion or mercy in the Church in present time.

As a Class XII C/S, I have the technical skills necessary to help anyone. I could have helped my son Alexander handle the engram from the traffic accident. However, due to the policy of Disconnection no one from the Church of Scientology ever called me to let me know that my only child had been badly injured in a traffic accident.

As an art dealer, I have a good income. I would have immediately paid to give my son the best medical care possible. Again, however, due to the policy of Disconnection no one from the Church of Scientology ever called me to let me know that Alexander had been badly injured in a traffic accident.

It came as a shock to me, then, when someone called me to let me know that Alexander had been found dead in his bed on the morning of July 3, 2012.

Alexander died at the home of his in-laws in Los Angeles. Both of his in-laws are New OT VII’s.

It was only after I began to ask questions that I learned of the traffic accident and that Alexander had allegedly died from a high fever.

Through its spokesperson, the Church was very quick to publicly state that Alexander has left no suicide note and had over-medicated himself. This was a strange and suspicious claim coming from the same Church that claims to have the most powerful technology on the planet. I am working very hard to find out the truth about my son Alexander’s death because the Church will not tell me anything and has forbidden Andrea or her family from telling me anything.

The behavior of the Church raises questions: Where was the tech when Alexander needed it? He served 16 years in the Sea Org. Why not a lifeline in his time of need?

Why did two New OT VII’s allow a fellow Scientologist in good standing to over-medicate himself?

Why had two OT’s failed to help Alexander? This is a gross violation of point one of the Code of Honor written by LRH in 1954:

Never desert a comrade in need, in danger or in trouble.

Alexander was clearly in need, danger, and trouble and yet he was utterly deserted by the Church of Scientology.

I wanted only to cremate my son quickly per the scriptures of Scientology. When I sent a messenger over to the home of Alexander’s in-laws to ask for his body, I was told:

· Any communication between Andrea and myself must go through OSA

· There would be no funeral or viewing for Alexander

· Worse, I was told that I would not be allowed to take one last look at my son

This is the Church of Scientology in 2012 under David Miscavige:

· An LRH-trained Class XII C/S cannot use the tech to help her own son

· A grieving mother cannot see her son’s body one last time

· No one will help a comrade in need, danger, or trouble for fear of incurring the wrath of David Miscavige or OSA

The Church did not tell me that Alexander died. I had to find out from someone who cared enough to tell me.

The Church never told you why Debbie Cook left as Captain of FSO. Instead, Debbie Cook sent out a letter herself to tell you why.

The Church is not telling you that LRH’s granddaughter Roanne Horwich recently blew from Int Base.

The Church of Scientology under David Miscavige is a Church full of secrets, lies, and injustices.

The Church of Scientology under David Miscavige uses Disconnection and SP Declares only to keep the truth from being known.

I am writing this letter to let you know that the Church has tried to keep secret the news that Alexander Jentzsch – whose father Heber is still the President of CSI – died.

The Church is keeping other secrets from you as well:

· Why is the Super Power Building still not open after almost twenty years?

· Where does all the money go?

· Why are the Ideal Orgs empty?

· Where is the expansion claimed by COB?

· That the entire Dror Mission in Israel just left the Church, and why.

I am a Scientologist and will always be a Scientologist for I know the power of the tech.

I love LRH and care enough about the tech and the church he created to send you this letter.

I close by quoting what Debbie Cook said very well in her letter:

“We all have a stake in this. It is simply not possible to read the LRH references and not see the alterations and violations that are currently occurring. You have a very simple obligation to LRH. Don’t participate in anything off policy, and let others know they should not either. If every person who reads this email does nothing more than step back from off-policy actions we would have changed direction. If we took all that energy and directed it into auditing, training and raw public dissemination, we would be winning.”

Order your copy at Amazon Books here: What Is Wrong With Scientology?

Description: The first critical treatment of Scientology that seeks to identify and correct what is wrong with it rather than to merely expose or advocate against the subject. A handbook for former, current and prospective members. The book can help to heal any damage done by misuse while rehabilitating any positives derived from Scientology. The book also serves to proof up an individual against being harmed by misapplication of Scientology in the future.  As the first simple, accurate description of the philosophy from its introductory to its most advanced levels, the book will inform those interested in Scientology as no other available work has.

Excerpt from Chapter Seven – Confessional:

In this wise, a new moral code is imposed upon individuals, covertly and against their own determinisms.  It is exacerbated by repeated questioning about the individual’s failure to report on other Scientologists.  After a while, a corporate Scientologist modifies her behavior accordingly, in order to avoid more security checks.  She not only edits her own behavior and thoughts, she attempts to do the same with Scientologist friends and family members, so that she does not get into trouble for overlooking such transgressions of others.  Thus, a process that was originally intended to free a person from the self-imposed mental prison she has created by her own inability to live up to what she considers right and ethical conduct becomes reversed.  The preclear is instead forced to agree to a new mental prison, imposed by the organization based on what it decrees to be right or wrong.  In short, the process replaces a person’s native judgment with a new judgment of its own.  In practice, it is a dark and painful operation, making a person less self-determined and more other-determined.

It seems that the only solution open to corporate Scientologists to cope and carry on within their culture is to become moralists.  Moralists who enforce on self and others morals which have been implanted.  If corporate Scientologists police their own conduct fastidiously enough, and interfere enough with the behavior and conduct of their fellows, they reckon they might be spared the cost, embarrassment and pain of being ordered to further batteries of security checks. In fact, that is the only behavior that does avoid continual, expensive, and degrading security checks in corporate Scientology.

This is yet another example of Scientology Inc.’s  reversal of end product.  Confessional technology was developed with the purpose to help an individual recognize she is the cause of her own destiny – and it has a long history of realizing that purpose.  This priceless technology has been twisted and corrupted to the point where now the individual winds up with her destiny blueprinted and dictated by the church.

These blueprints are enforced through a related – and now similarly corrupted – technology of Scientology: the technology of ethics.

Website about David Mayo

Technical Purity

I am frequently asked whether we practice “Standard Tech”. Unfortunately, the term “Standard Tech” has been so abused that in order to give a comprehensive answer, I feel it is necessary to clarify a distinction between “Standard Tech” and “Technical Standards”.

For many years there has been a great deal of talk about “Standard Tech”. Yet term in actual use today is more frequently used to mean “what the orgs are doing” or “the latest change”. There is nothing standard about that. Often these changes are heralded as the “latest breakthrough from LRH” only to be later cancelled as “an alter-is by another”. Sometimes these cancellations are changed, then re-issued, sometimes not.

Most are familiar with this having occurred in recent times regarding the changes in the grade chart, the HRD, NOTs and Solo NOTs. But this has been going on for years.

For example, Expanded Dianetics was released as an LRH breakthrough at the time, only to be cancelled years later as “alter-ised by another”.

Power processing was taken out of use and orgs and Scientologists were told that LRH would be replacing Power with his latest breakthrough, “Super Power”. (In this instance, Super Power was never released.)

Each of these changes was done in the name of “Standard Tech”, but the result has been constantly changing tech.

Here at the AAC we are devoted to keeping our technical standards high, to safeguarding the purity of the tech and ensuring that it is applied for the benefit of the pc.

We have completed 12 people on Advanced Ability VII (which the Church of Scientology refers to as Solo NOTs), while the Church is just now announcing their first completion. Why is this?

This devotion to the purity of the tech and a personal refusal to compromise was one of the main reasons for my departure from the Sea Org and the Church of Scientology. As this part of the story has not been told before and as there have been many false and maligning reasons put forward by certain persons in the Church of Scientology/RTC, I feel it is important to clarify some important issues.

First, let us review some very basic technical rules:

  • One very important fundamental is that Man is basically good.
  • Other very important fundamental rules are: that the tech must be applied in the direction of raising the self determinism of the pc, it must be applied for the benefit of the pc, and that it must be done with ARC. When auditing is applied on the above basis, the being’s basic goodness and rightness are validated, he is helped to become more himself, and gainsinevitably result.

To do otherwise results in invalidation of the being, his basic goodness and his self deter-min-ism That is a dramatization of other earlier practices which did not have Man’s best interests at heart such as mind control, implanting etc., – efforts to change the being through the use of force.

As I had devoted some 23 years of my life to the tech, it was with considerable horror, repugnance and disgust that I saw instances of “black dianetics and scientology” within the Church. Read the rest of this entry »
