When Scientology Was Fun
Dear Friends of Hellen Chen Academy,
Known as the marriage expert, Hellen has been invited on radio or TV shows to share advice on how to create a long lasting relationship.
I thought to share with you a funny topic which Hellen was asked at an interview with 3 male hosts.
Listen until the very end where one of the hosts share a win :))
Just in the last 3 months alone, Hellen’s message of how to create a sound marriage has resonated very well and her message has been featured in over 100 news and online publications, TVs and radio shows.
Her next workshop on love and relationships is on Feb 2, this coming Saturday, and we will be seeing some of you there! :)
Hellen and Helmut are thankful for your friendship and we do look forward to sharing more theta news! :)

By David St Lawrence (Old Auditor)
“I am a Grad V auditor, OT VII and I spent 20 years successfully using the technology described by L Ron Hubbard to help others and to help myself.”
The overarching memory of my early years in Scientology was the incredible number of wins that occurred on course and in auditing. These were originated after classes, in the halls, and in the local coffee shops.
People just kept on cogniting and the enthusiasm was contagious. If you heard a win from the HQS course and you hadn’t done it, you wanted to sign up for it. It was just that simple. When you heard wins from those who had attested to Clear, the entire room would go bright as we all went exterior at the same time.
It was a time when those who weren’t winning stood out like burnt out bulbs in a lighting display.

Data Series 40
THE IDEAL ORG
(First appeared as LRH ED 102 INT, 20 May 70, referring to evaluation.)
The ideal org would be an activity where people came to achieve freedom and where they had confidence they would attain it.
It would have enough space in which to train, process and administrate without crowding.
It would be located where the public could identify and find it.
It would be busy looking, with staff in motion, not standing about.
It would be clean and attractive enough not to repel its public.

Most of us were on the way to realizing the dream we had carried for many years: We could really help someone and change their lives for the better with a little bit of two way communication. Read the rest of this entry »

We had 30 people doing the Comm Course in one little room at the Mission where I started on the Bridge. The Course Supervisor watched the drills like a hawk and made sure that they were being done standardly. There was no pattycake drilling in her course room and the wins were fantastic.
My first win on the Comm Course was realizing that I had never really “been there” in front of another person before. I was so used to confronting with my clothes or with conversational gimmicks that my space started to open up on the very first drills. Read the rest of this entry »

Those of us who received auditing and training more than 20 years ago can remember the incredible joy of 24/7 out of body living and watching miracles take place almost every day.
I remember going from an introverted, cynical, and embittered middle-aged man to a gentle and loving person after being run on a certain repair list in Life Repair. Driving home from that session was a hoot because my peripheral vision had opened up and I could see far off both sides of the road while focused on the center line. Read the rest of this entry »
